2012 Sherm Toller Memorial

Saturday night at the Marysville Raceway Park, Kyle Hirst made the most of his debut in the Vertullo Motorsports No.83V as he bested the 22 other drivers and picked up the popular victory on the hooked up 1/4 mile track.

Hirst lined up in the third row, and wasted no time getting to the front, and battling one of the toughest drivers in Marysville Raceway Park history, Colby Wiesz, as he drove around Wiesz around the halfway point and began to distance himself from the field.

Behind Hirst, fellow third row starter, Willie Croft, was navigating through traffic and reeling in the leader, and pulled up on his bumper as the white flag flew, but Hirst proved to be better on this night at took home the hardware.

Chasing Hirst and Croft to the stripe was Easton, CA driver, Tommy Tarlton, who put together his own impressive performance, charging up from the 10th spot, and Wiesz, and Mason Moore.
