2011 Trophy Cup

The Trophy Cup is without a doubt the most exciting race in California year in and year out, and this years event did not disappoint either night.

Friday night, Kyle Larson charged from 13th to the third spot until he lost the handle and was forced to the rear, but behind Larson, TK made his own charge from the back and grabbed the third spot at the stripe as he chased Stevie Smith and brother, Bud Kaeding, to the stripe.

The 50-lap feature on Saturday night was the Kyle Larson show, as the phenom grabbed the lead on lap ten, and proceeded to dominate the race as he lapped up to the fifth spot.

The other race going on was for the Trophy Cup title, and Jac Haudenschild got around Jonathan Allard on the white flag lap to take the crown away from JA.
